“Green” Occupations refer to industry or professions which have a direct or indirect relationship to assisting in positive environmental effects. Specifically and currently, this industry is likely to focus on the elimination or reduction of oil dependence, green house emissions, and toxins. There are many different types of opportunities in this field as it involves varying skill sets and knowledge from engineering to landscaping to biological innovations. This becomes particularly true as we increase our understanding of what “green” means in our society and the many ways in which we can apply it.
